The New Christy Minstrels proudly introduces Becky Jo Benson.

Becky Jo Benson has been the longest running performer, 22 years, besides Randy Sparks, in The New Christy Minstrels®.  Pictured below with Fab Dupont, Becky Jo’s instructor, through Pure Mix videos, for her recording and mixing of The NCM CD ‘Nice Time To Be Alive’, when the two met for the first time in person at BB King’s Blues Club in New York, after the group performance.

Becky Jo has been the right hand of Randy Sparks, as the person in charge of logistics, graphics, contracts, etc. and a performer on stage singing soprano, and playing banjo, guitar, ukulele, accordion, autoharp, tambourine, and cabasa, as well as one of the three (volunteer) Founders of the New Christy Minstrels Foundation started in 2009, as the Executive Director, and Chief Financial Officer.

With her resignation from all of the above, Becky Jo thanked everyone for the privilege of working with them.

Becky Jo now lives in California, where she is building her own recording studio to produce her original songs and continue her career in music.

She said it has been a fabulous ride for the last 22 years in The New Christy Minstrels, Under the Direction of Randy Sparks!  She sends her love to all the special people she has had the privilege to meet!
